Eight questions buyers ask before the first order
3D models: STEP, STP, IGES, X_T or native SolidWorks. 2D drawings: DWG, DXF or PDF. If you send a PDF, mark the critical tolerances and finish — otherwise we machine to general tolerances. You can zip multiple files into one upload.
One piece. Prototypes run on the same machines as production, so the unit price for a single part is higher, but the process is identical.
Within 24 hours for a normal part, two working days for something complex. The quote includes unit price, lead time and at least one DFM note.
Best positioning accuracy is ±0.005 mm per 300 mm with ±0.003 mm repeatability (VMC850C). Turning holds IT6–IT7 at Ra 1.6. For most parts ±0.02 mm is far cheaper — it depends on your drawing. Tighter tolerance means higher price and longer lead time, and we say so up front rather than discovering it later.
Yes — we will sign before you send anything. Even without an NDA, your drawings are used for your project only: not forwarded, not re-used, not shown to other customers.
Samples and small batches go by DHL / FedEx / UPS; larger orders by air or sea. We quote EXW (your forwarder), FOB Shanghai / Ningbo, or DDP to your door — agreed before the order starts.
T/T: 30% deposit, balance before shipment. PayPal is fine for small sample orders. Repeat customers can discuss terms.
Yes. Material certificates travel with the shipment, and a dimensional report can be issued line by line against your drawing. Third-party inspection (SGS and similar) is arranged on request; the inspection fee is yours.
